While, Amenhotep III started the construction Ramesses the Great, Hatshepsut, Thutmose III, Horemheb, and Alexander the Great added to the temple reliefs. On Luxor west bank you will visit Hatshepsut temple which is located in Deir El Bahari not far from the Mortuary Temple of Mentuhotep II. Senmut, Queen’s engineer built the temple for Hatshepsut in a very unique way. Indeed, there are a lot of amazing places especially the second level such as Hathor Chapel, Punt Expedition, and Anubis Chapel. Moreover, the walls reliefs show important events the Queen's Divine Birth, agriculture in ancient Egypt, trading, and Music and dance in ancient Egypt.
Valley of the Kings
Then you will explore Valley of the Kings on Luxor west bank was the final resting place of all the Pharaohs of the Eighteenth Dynasty, Nineteenth Dynasty, and Twentieth Dynasty. Moreover, Tutankhamun's tomb is very famous in the Valley of the Kings. The walls of the tombs are decorated with the Book of Day, Book of Night, Book of Heavenly Cow, Book of Caverns, and the Book of Imyduat.
